Who Are We?

Founded in 1993, CEM approaches all that we do with a singular focus of improving communities.

We have 6 core service areas, each working harmoniously to deliver the highest quality service for our clients and community: Construction Monitoring, Resource Assessment and Permitting, Contamination Mitigation and Prevention, Geospatial, Engineering, and Land Surveying.

Knowing that communities depend on infrastructure to thrive, we provide technical expertise and regulatory knowledge to facilitate design, construction, and maintenance of these vital community assets.

Ever mindful that public infrastructure projects are funded by our neighbors, we elevate our contributions above our work by training and mentoring the next generation of scientists and engineers, and sharing profits with our employees and those in need of a helping hand.

Why Do We Give?

At CEM, we firmly believe that strong and vibrant communities are the foundation of our country. Since our company's inception, we have continuously sought to improve our communities through our work and philanthropy. We believe that businesses have a vital role, if not an obligation, to support and enhance their communities. Strong communities provide better opportunities for all. It’s just that simple, and it’s just that important.

What Do We Give?

The primary way we contribute to our community is by donating money to organizations that know how to use it best to improve the lives of others. Since 2010, 85 different non-profits have received more than $600,000 through our Charitable Giving Program. But, we also believe in service, and so we donate significant time to civic and non-profit boards. Because we believe that strong community leaders are born out of curious and engaged students, we provide internships to high school and college students, and donate equipment and supplies to local schools.

Our donations have provided abused women with legal aid... Have helped build a local cancer treatment center... Have funded research to help paralyzed children learn to walk again... Have provided food and shelter to our most vulnerable neighbors...
