Serenity Salt Spa

a “hidden gem” that provides the community a place of tranquility, mind, body, and spiritual healing, at affordable costs.

Who Are We?

In 2017, Kelly Wagner and her daughter Danielle Fraunhoffer, two long-time residents of Harford County, Maryland, decided to take the risk to open a unique wellness facility that would take wellness to another level by providing the community with a simpler and more direct way to receive all-natural, drug-free, and alternative wellness services for people to get relief from chronic health issues.   This way of healing was found and experienced in Kelly’s personal journey to healing her chronic health problems.

When Harford County Government Officials were made aware of new alternative wellness services that Serenity Salt Spa would be providing its community, they were highly recognized and awarded a Proclamation.

“Since opening, the Spa has been recognized by many, but receiving ‘this proclamation was our greatest achievement”

Opening Harford County’s 1st Himalayan Salt Therapy and Wellness Spa in Forest Hill, Maryland, made the Spa the 3rd facility in the State of Maryland to provide Salt Therapy.

Why Do We Give?

Having learned early in life the dedication it takes when being involved in community sports and organizations, Kelly and her daughters set the foundation for themselves to be able to establish a business that would have compassion, flexibility, and understanding for their customers and have learned the importance and necessity of fundraising make it second nature for them to support and give back to their community setting them apart from others in their industry. Serenity Salt Spa makes it its mission to make the community their #1 priority, by staying actively involved in community enrichment, and by providing affordable all-natural and holistic services, donating products, services, gift certificates, and more to local nonprofits, charities, schools, and others that needing support.

What Do We Give?

Kelly, Danielle, and Brittany stayed active during the COVID shutdown by allowing clients that needed salt therapy sessions to receive them and by hand sewing “special face masks” for those struggling to find them. These masks were made with the health of the wearer in mind, as the mask incorporated an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-microbial filter made with pharmaceutical-grade salt. They also stayed diligent in community wellness by making and donating over 300 bags of bath salts to the ER Nurses at Upper Chesapeake Hospital. Since then, the Owners are actively involved in community enrichment and giving back by, supporting local non-profits, schools, hospital staff, and other local businesses, participating in many community-based events, sponsoring local chambers of commerce, organizations, causes, events, and more.
